Descaling is the process of removing built up layers of calcium from things that are in constant contact with water; typically, ‘hard’ water from municipal sources. Boilers & heat exchangers are often laden with calcium deposits of this sort. Limescale is also found in metal pipes, pumps, filters & other water equipment to varying degrees, depending on water quality. The build-up of this scale, over time, can severely interfere with efficiency & reliability of machinery & pipework. If calcium build-up – or limescale – is allowed to accumulate unimpeded it will ultimately impair the performance of appliances and sully the appearance of various surfaces.
- Bio-Scale Professional is a powerful non-toxic descalant & rust remover with natural oil additives. Leaves a fine coating of iron phosphate which temporarily prevents rust.
- Deep cleans neglected areas, while cutting through rust, dirt & limescale deposits with ease.
- Controls odours & the growth & spread of pathogens while leaving a lasting fresh fragrance.
- Bio-Scale deep cleans concrete, grout, tile & natural stone surfaces. Removes cement grout haze & mortar residue.
- Produces a powerful cleaning action to dissolve away deposits without damaging surfaces, equipment, & pipework.
- Returns equipment to optimum performance with less maintenance & longer equipment life.
- Continuous maintenance program will prevent future limescale build-up and equipment down time
- Unblocks clogged toilets, drains, urinals, showers & basins
- Dish Machines are constantly being filled with tap water, over time calcium deposits will begin making themselves known and will be easy to see. Delime dish machine weekly to assure best ware washing results & equipment performance.
- While Bio-Scale contains eco-friendly ingredients that are fully biodegradable, they do not contain probiotics. While probiotic cleaners are great for most things, there are areas where they aren’t as effective. Probiotics aren’t as good at removing limescale. This is because to descale surfaces you need acid, which breaks down the limescale. But acid also kills bacteria, so it won’t be any good to add acid to our descalant formulation.
